Online Trading Seminar The seminar will be recorded, and will remain on the website along with all charts and text, for those who would like to attend but can't be present for the session. Trading Setup Selectivity consider the 2 charts below - can you see an initial base setup at the yellow dots that is essentially the same - except on the right chart you have gone flat before the last bar? are both setups of these setups actually the same - do these setups have the same selectivity - how would you decide?
Trader Setup Selectivity consider the 2 charts below - clearly there are multiple trades that IF done were profitable. BUT on each of these there was one setup that was selective to a trader in the group - meaning that it was the only trade that they took-meaning that it is a setup that they continuously watch for AND intend to always take. what-where are the trader selective setups - do YOU have a trader selective setup?
Trading Situation Selectivity trading wouldn't be so hard IF it weren't for the price bars AND all those 'little' right side bar patterns that may look so 'big' to you real time as you are trying to make a trading decision BUT are so meaningless across the chart-so meaningless to the concept of price failure-break. AND where is this situation the worst? during those sideways consolidation periods where price often spends so much time AND additionally when price is trading around floor numbers. again this is related to the right side only issue BUT also because of a mixed method issue - for instance while YOU are trying to buy a consolidation high breakout THEY are selling this high as resistance - AND as long as the consolidation period continues THEY win. consider the 2 charts below as consolidation periods AND both additionally 'impacted' from a floor number in the area - were there any trade setups that were selective for the situation AND IF yes what-where?
